School Violence and bullying seem to have a very close relationship. The more kids are bullied the more anger they feel. That's a fairly simple idea. Children all deal with bullying at some point. Most just shrug it off or deal with the problem in non-violent ways. However, everyone has seen a kid get really mad when being picked on and act violently towards someone. It's no usually school shootings, most of the time it's just someone shoving someone else. I think the way for parents and kids to help bully victims is to help then forget about it and move on.
I think the shooter should be tried as an adult being that he is seventeen and able to make his own decisions. I also think he should get a large sentencing for his crime. I don't think that the shooting of students should be taken lightly and he should be punished harshly. The maximum was life and prison and if he got that I think it's be fair. If he doesn't get life he should still get a long sentencing.

DeleteI agree with you when you say most kids deal with bullying and shrug it off. I also think that this kid was bullied badly that much because it didn't sound like it in any of the reports. I the kid is just a very violent kid.
ReplyDeleteBut in other cases of school shootings most of them are caused by bullying because they are bullied till they're pushed to the edge.(happy feet)
I agree with most facts because they relate to what i have written myself, you made some valid points and i have nothing to disagree with.
